Advent and Christmas 2020

1

Sunday 29th November:  Advent Sunday SnapShot

Join us online as we light the first advent candle. We continue our series on Luke's Distinctive Gospel, going back to chapter 1 of Luke and the important characters we see there before the nativity story at Christmas. Advent is a time of preparation, so we see what role Elizabeth, Gabriel, Mary and Zechariah played in the run up to the birth of the saviour.

CHALLENGE 100 - THE BLESSINGS TREE

4

Our challenge this Advent is to bless 100 people by Christmas!  Please join us in this challenge by undertaking a blessing (shopping for a neighbour, phoning someone, giving food to the homeless etc.) and then visiting our ‘Blessings tree’ to add your blessing bauble to the tree in the church car park!

WONDER WINDOWS …

3

You are warmly invited to enjoy the wonder of Christmas at a magical outdoor gallery.
During December some church building windows will be lit up with displays from 3pm until 8.30pm each day until 30th December. There will be a simple Covid- safe route to follow starting at the front of the buildings. Come and see and follow the trail for all-ages.
