"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47 NIV)

House groups are at the centre of Christ Church's mission to Make Passionate Disciples for Christ.

They meet:

- for the benefit of their members,
- for the blessing of the church and community ; and
- for the glory of God as we become more like Him.

They are a home  in which we offer friendship, fellowship, meals; a school in which we study the Bible and grow in faith; a hospital in which we seek God's transformative power through worship,  prayer and seeing God at work. It is also a place to prepare for and go out in mission.

House Groups are a great way to get to know the members of Christ Church better. If you are new to us we would love to find you a home in one of these groups. Please let us know if you would like to join a House Group.

There is a group to suit everyone.
