What is a Christingle made of?

A Christingle has a special meaning attached to each part.

• The orange represents the world

• The red tape or red ribbon making a red line round the orange symbolises the love and blood of Christ

• The sweets and /or dried fruit are a representation of God’s creations

• The candle is lit and represents Jesus’s light in the world, and brings hope to people living in darkness.
